What are some tips you would offer fellow students to stay healthy?

Want to be healthy? The first thing to do is to have a balanced diet. Every meal we eat must consist of vegetables and meat so that we have enough vitamins and nutrients. Only meat without vegetables will not do.

Sleeping well also contribute to our health. If someone suffers insomnia, he or she is vulnerable to diseases especially flu and fever which may eventually lead to H1N1. Teenagers should try not to engage in too much activities which shortens their sleeping time. They should at least sleep for eight hours a day if not at least seven hours.

Teenagers for some reasons bath only once every few days especially during the holidays. Maybe they find it troublesome but cleaning our body every day is very important as there are always germs around us. We will fall sick easily if our body is not clean. For example eating with dirty hands may get you into hospital because of food poisoning

What are your thoughts about home learning? Is it more effective than learning in school?

Home learning is certainly attractive to students since they can learn at home. They do not need to face teachers and have lesser pressure and more freedom. They can also chat in MSN while doing their work.

However, they will always be some people who will slack. Since it is home learning, they think that the teachers would not be ableto track them so they just sleep and play whole day. When they come back to school they use dumb excuses like my computer broke down or I did not know where I should go or what I should do. They treat it like a holiday. Sometimes they just ask their friends for answers and that task assigned by teacher is done. Rather than learning, they prefer slacking.

Whether home learning is more effective than learning in school it depends individuals. They internet has lots of information that we can search for. Hardworking students learning at home can search for answers in the internet if they have any enquiries. Compared to teachers giving them answers, they will remember it better since they spent time looking for the answer.

Those lazy ones will gain little or nothing from home learning. As I mentioned above they will only slack or ask for answers which was no different than in school
